House Rules
As mentioned on our listing, here is our house rules:

No smoking or vaping indoors. Please dispose of smoking waste properly if smoking outdoors.

No pets of any kind.

No parties or events allowed.

Strictly no outside noise is permitted any night of the week after 11:00 PM.

Shoes must be taken off in the home.

No guests under the age of 18 may stay in the house unsupervised.

No unauthorized extra guests allowed: 2 guests maximum in the suite.

We are excited that although we are a small town, Niagara-on-the-Lake has so much to offer in terms of independently owned and operated, throughly crafted restaurants. The ones we share here have consistently given care to their menu, care to our community and represent (in our thoughts!) some of the best our town has to offer. We support local, and hope you will too while you stay with us!

Information
Guests who violate the general conduct of basic courtesy to other guests in our home will be asked to leave. This includes, but is not limited to, not respecting the shared spaces, being loud during the indoor quiet hours of 10 PM to 8 AM, not sharing the outdoor amenities accordingly, etc.

Airbnb Host Requirements:
Airbnb requires all hosts to provide the following essential amenities: toilet paper, soap, linens/sheets, and at least one towel and pillow per booked guest.

Backyard:
Please access the backyard via the doorway in the dining room. Ensure you lock the door every time you reenter the home. Backyard is shared with all guests and owners. If you are using the golf or hot tub and other guests queue up, please limit your time to 30 minutes as to share the space.

Golf Green:
The mini putt green is open to all guests. Putters, balls, and the green sweep broom can be found behind the swing in the shed. Please return all the items to the shed when done with them.

Hot Tub:
Use of the hot tub is permitted for all guests, as your own risk. Hot tub use is allowed only during the hours of 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, without exception. There are exterior cameras in place to monitor the backyard and hot tub area, for everyone’s safety. Guests should shower before using hot tub and replace the cover after use.

Kitchen and Coffee Station:
The shared coffee station for guests is located on the main level in the kitchen. Please wash your mugs and spoons in the sink after use. The fridge/freezer are open for guests to use. We do not leave anything for guests on arrival so if you see other food/drink items in the fridge, please know they are other guests. It is on the honour system. Please remove all food/drink when you depart.​​

Taxi Service:
Uber is available in NOTL if you have the app and an account. Ubers can sometimes not be as readily available, so it’s best to allot extra time or book them ahead when possible.

Garbage:
Extra garbage can be taken out to the garbage bins to the right of the home. Please do not leave any garbage bags outdoors at anytime, as local wildlife will attack.
Temperature:
The temperature for the unit is controlled by the main house. If you’d like the temperature adjusted, please do not hesitate to contact us, however depending on you request we may not be able to adjust, based on the comfort of all guests and the owners. We’ve provided a fan for your comfort.

Water:
Tap water is safe to drink in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

WIFI:
In Canada it is illegal to download items from Bit Torrent type websites. Our internet supplier will provide notices that can result in legal action if licensed movies or music are downloaded illegally. These notices are time and date stamped, so please know we will contact any of our Airbnb guests who break this federal law in our home.
