House Rules
As mentioned on our listing, here is our house rules:

No smoking or vaping indoors. Please dispose of smoking waste properly if smoking outdoors.

Pet friendly, cleaning fee does apply. Please contact if you have a pet.

No parties or events allowed.

Strictly no outside noise is permitted any night of the week after 11:00 PM.

Shoes must be taken off in the home.

No guests under the age of 18 may stay in the house unsupervised.

No unauthorized extra guests allowed: 7 guests maximum in home.

We are excited that although we are a small town, Niagara-on-the-Lake has so much to offer in terms of independently owned and operated, throughly crafted restaurants. The ones we share here have consistently given care to their menu, care to our community and represent (in our thoughts!) some of the best our town has to offer. We support local, and hope you will too while you stay with us!

Information
Airbnb Host Requirements:
Airbnb requires all hosts to provide the following essential amenities: toilet paper, soap, linens/sheets, and at least one towel and pillow per booked guest.
Backyard:
Feel free to enjoy our backyard space if the weather permits. Niagara-on-the-Lake has a very strict noise by-law. Please end all outdoor noise by 11:00 PM as to be considerate to both our neighbours and the town law. Excessive outdoor noise can result in our local manager arriving and cancelling the booking and evicting guests. Outdoor cameras are in place to monitor.
Chickens:
We have a chicken coop on the backside of our yoga/sauna room. They are cared for by a local chicken farmer who can access them without entering the home or fenced in guest back yard. Please do not touch or let our chickens out at anytime.
Fireplace:
The gas fireplace in living can be controlled by the remote.
Pool Rules:
Swimming is at your own risk, there is no lifeguard on duty. No pets in pool. No glass of any kind by pool. If broken glass is found by the pool you will be charged $500 from your security deposit. In consideration of our neighbours, please refrain from excessive noise while in the pool. This includes but is not limited to screaming, loud music, etc. Please do not use coloured tanning oils on the loungers.
Sauna:
Wood can be loaded into the stove entry, which is on the outside wall facing the pool. Take care as the door gets hot. Our sauna is BYOW (Bring Your Own Wood) as noted. Wood can be purchased at any Avondale Convenience Store or local hardware store. Please be sure to close the stove door when it is lit. An ax is provided for you.
BBQ:
There is a gas BBQ provided for your use. Please ensure you shut off the BBQ and close the gas valve after each use.

Taxi Service:
Uber is available in NOTL if you have the app and an account. Ubers can sometimes not be as readily available, so it’s best to allot extra time or book them ahead when possible.
Garbage:
Extra garbage can be taken out to the garbage bins in the free standing shed on the right side of the driveway. Ensure you close the door securely after opening. Please do not leave any garbage bags outdoors at anytime, as local wildlife will attack.
Temperature:
The temperature for the house can be adjusted on the thermostat located in hallway next to the bedrooms.
Laundry:
We are happy to provide use of our washer and dryer complimentary to all guests. They can be found on the lower level. Soap and dryer sheets available for use during your stay. Please clean the lint trap between uses for fire safety.
Water:
Tap water is safe to drink and there is a filtered water tap at the kitchen sink.
WIFI:
In Canada it is illegal to download items from Bit Torrent type websites. Our internet supplier will provide notices that can result in legal action if licensed movies or music are downloaded illegally. These notices are time and date stamped, so please know we will contact any of our Airbnb guests who break this federal law in our home.
